From the South Side to CEO:

How Kya B. Turned Frustration Into Innovation With Wrap Patch

Kya B., the visionary inventor and CEO of Wrap Patch, is living proof that resilience can spark revolution. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Kya is a mother, a fighter, a giver, a warrior, and a true lover of life. But behind the invention that has taken the smoking world bystorm is a personal story of courage, survival, and unshakable determination.

A Childhood Marked by Love and Pain

From the very beginning, Kya faced challenges that could have defined her. She was born with Sickle Cell Anemia, a painful and life-altering condition that brought frequent hospital visits and countless obstacles throughout her childhood. Yet even in the midst of suffering, Kya’s spirit was never broken. Her mother taught her resilience early on, and that strength would become her guiding light through every hardship to come.

Innovation Born in the Cold

Fast forward to one cold winter night, and what seemed like an ordinary moment, became a turning point. Kya, a medicinal smoker, reached for the last cigar in her stash, only to find it stale and broken. Frustration set in, but instead of giving up or settling, she saw a problem that needed solving. In that simple yet pivotal moment, the idea for Wrap Patch was born! A product designed to help smokers repair broken/damaged smoking vessels plus more, and avoid wasting product. It was an elegant solution to common problems, and Kya knew she had to bring it to life.

Obstacles, Then a Miracle—and a Crisis

Kya began building her prototype from home, investing time, energy, and love into developing her idea. Eventually able to get everything together and ready to go, she launched Wrap Patch on the market. Smokers and non-smokers welcomed the product with nothing but love, but just as momentum began to build, life threw her another major challenge. During a chest CAT scan for an unrelated issue, the tech accidentally scanned her head, discovering a brain aneurysm. By her having NO symptoms, that was a silent threat that could have turned fatal if left undetected. She underwent open brain surgery, a procedure that carried immense risk in itself, which required incredible strength to survive and recover from. And that, she did!
Even in the face of life-threatening illness, Kya remained steadfast. She had children to raise, a product to launch, and a purpose she refused to abandon. Her perseverance wasn’t just about business, it was about showing her children and the world what it means to fight for your dreams, no matter the odds.

Back To Business: A Small Idea With a Huge Impact

Smokers and non-smokers alike responded with nothing but love, support, and open arms.
Wrap Patch quickly earned a reputation as a must-have for smokers—gaining momentum through word of mouth, online buzz, and industry recognition. It wasn’t long before it started winning awards and building a loyal, enthusiastic following.
But for Kya, this was never just about business. It was about transforming her pain into purpose, creating something that could help others, save money, and inspire anyone facing their own battles.
Wrap Patch became more than a product; it became a symbol of resilience, resourcefulness, and love.

Building a Brand on Love and Legacy

Kya’s vision for Wrap Patch is bigger than just patching smoking vessels. It’s about helping others, building a household name, spreading love, and empowering others to keep going—no matter what life throws their way. Her journey reminds us that even in the darkest moments, something beautiful can be born.

The Legacy Continues

Today, Kya B. continues to be a great mother to her kids, lead with heart, while staying humble and thankful for just being! Her story is one of survival, strength, and belief in self. From battling Sickle Cell Anemia since birth to surviving open brain surgery and launching a groundbreaking product, Kya’s life is a testament to what’s possible when you believe in yourself, and never stop pushing forward.

Wrap Patch isn’t just a product. It’s a symbol of resilience, and Kya B. isn’t just an inventor—she’s an inspiration.
